I'm John Redfern, owner of one of the best teams of Verheyen Hofkens racing pigeons anywhere in the world.
In 1994 I introduced two Bert Braspenning Janssen pigeons into my lofts. These pigeons were an instant success winning many 1st prizes at Club and Fed level. In 2001, I added my first Hofkens stock hen, who bred my 3rd Open National Winner from Tours.
My Hofkens racing pigeons are bred from the original Hofkens imported into the UK in 1986 have a look at the original pedigrees these quality pigeons have produced winner after winner.
Don't take my word for it, take a look at my Results page, as you can see my top class racing pigeons perform consistently in races again and again.

"I purchased a racing team of 2009 young birds from John, they say first impressions last well, on my visit to John I was very impressed with the quality of pigeons housed in his lofts.
John is a very honest and
genuine person and fancier and I would recommend these pigeons to anyone.
On John's advice I took it easy with the team of young birds
and only lightly raced them. From the 29 I started racing 25 are still in the
loft.
Racing only John's birds this year, in 5 young bird races I competed in, flying in the very strong Sundridge Park Flying Club I won 3 x 1st and 2 x 2nd , beaten by loft mates.
I am that pleased with the pigeons I had off John I've
already ordered young birds in 2010".

"Dear Fanciers, I have had birds from John Redfern for the last ten years. Always they have won and bred winners for me and others when I have not raced myself. John is a real stockman and has a knack for breeding the birds.
The most important thing about John is that he is honest when dealing with any fancier."

"John, again your birds have flown well for me this year. As you know I fly in the Gilford and District R.P.S. club in N. Ireland and your birds have won for me for the past five years.
This year I again won with them, having got only two birds from you this season I am more than happy because I put them in our first young bird race and won with the Blue Janssen Cock, he is a super pigeon and I know next year he will do it again, many thanks".

"This testimonial is for a very honest and true man. Having known John
for a while now I have found his help and advice always sound and
helpful.
Coming back in to the sport a after a 30 year break I got 8
late breds off John these birds bred for me a lovely team of young birds.
In the first year out of 9 races they won 3 - 1st, 4 - 2nd, 4 - 3rd, 4
- 4th.
But it has been my bad look that I have now got a pigeon allergy and
passed my birds and the original latebreds to a good friend to breed off,
this he did and flying young birds this season will be the highest prize
winner in his club with young birds."
